NEW PRINCIPAL NAMED FOR OBION COUNTY CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL

According to Tim Watkins, Director of Schools for Obion County Schools, in an email forwarded to The Current this morning, a new Principal has been named for Obion County Central High School, for the 2023-2024 school year. Corry Essary will begin new duties July 1 in the position, with the retirement of Barry Kendall, at the end of the 2022-2023 school year. Watkins thanked Kendall for his "leadership, service and dedication" to the school system, in the correspondance.
