Severe weather possible Fri., June 6
June 03, 2025

(Editor's Note: The following was submitted by the National Weather Service - Paducah on Tues., June 3.)
An unsettled weather pattern arrives Wednesday and into the weekend. While a strong storm or two can't be ruled out Wednesday and Thursday, a better environment for organized thunderstorms looks to be on Friday. Timing uncertainty still remains high but timing could be from late morning into the afternoon hours on Friday. The main hazards will be damaging winds. A slight risk for severe weather includes southeast Missouri, portions of southern Illinois, and much of western Kentucky. Additional adjustments to the slight risk area are possible as we get closer to Friday.
A healthy Fulton County requires great community news.
