AREA OBITUARIES — Joyce A. Brown

Joyce A. Brown, age 84, of Dresden, Tenn. and formerly of South Fulton, Tenn., passed away at her residence on Fri., Oct. 23, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Joyce was born on March 24, 1942, in Bolivar, Tenn., to the late William L. Kiestler and Angie Lucille Vales Kiestler.
She was a member of South Fulton United Methodist Church and had been employed at the former H.I.S. (Henry I. Siegel) and Mac and Fay’s Floral. She was also the co-owner of The Orange Blossom in Martin, Tenn. Joyce had a strong work ethic and took great pride in her work, but above all, she cherished her family and the time she spent with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Greg) Reddick, of Dresden, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Tabitha Dawson, of Martin, Tenn., and Isabella (Wesley) Reddick, of Gleason, Tenn.; one great-grandchild, Ira Jo Welker, of Gleason, Tenn.; and her brother, Jerry (Beverly) Kiestler, of Memphis, Tenn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara McGehee.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tues., Oct. 27, 2026, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, Ky. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
