TVA ROBOTICS AWARD WINNER

The Fulton County Schools robotics team was recently selected as a 2026–2027 TVA Robotics Award winner. This recognition celebrates our students’ dedication, creativity, teamwork, and commitment to hands-on STEM and robotics education. The Fulton County School District is proud to be part of an initiative that helps strengthen and expand robotics opportunities for students across the Valley, especially in underserved communities. The Robotics Team is supported by the Tennessee Valley Authority and Bicentennial Volunteers, Inc. The program is run by the Tennessee STEM Innovation Network (TSIN-Battelle). The Fulton County G/T Robotics Program received $5,000 to expand the program into grades 5-8 and two robotic teams. The grant pays for robots, laptops, and competition expenses such as T-shirts, travel, and hotel expenses for state competition. The team, under the G/T teacher and sponsor, won the district and regional competition last year and placed 12th in the state last year.   (Photo submitted)
