Twin Cities Community Clean-Up Day set for Aug. 29

Residents of the Twin Cities area will have an opportunity to help improve their community during the upcoming Twin Cities Community Clean-Up Day on Sat., Aug. 29.
The community clean-up will begin at 8 a.m., with volunteers meeting at Pontotoc Park before heading out to pick up litter and help beautify neighborhoods throughout the community.
Organizers are encouraging residents to participate and lend a hand in keeping the community clean and attractive. Clean-up tools and supplies will be provided for volunteers.
The event also offers an opportunity for participants who need community service hours, as service hours will be available for those taking part.
The clean-up is sponsored by the Fulton Parks Board.
