Lady Pilots rally past Lake County in four-set volleyball win

The Fulton County High School Lady Pilots bounced back from an early setback Thurs., Aug. 20, rallying past visiting Lake County High School for a 3-1 varsity volleyball victory, their first of the 2026 season.
Fulton County won the opening set, 25-16, but the  Lady Falcons quickly responded in the second set with a 25-11 win to even the match.
The Lady Pilots regained the momentum, edging Lake County 25-11 in the third set before closing out the match with a 25-21 victory in the fourth set.
With the win, Fulton County improved to 1-2 on the season, while Lake County fell to 0-1.
The Lady Pilots will look to build on the strong performance as they continue their early-season schedule Mon., Aug. 24 as they host the Calloway County Lady Lakers at 7 p.m.
