South Fulton City Commission to meet in special called session Tues., May 12

A special called South Fulton City Commission meeting will be held Tues., May 12 at 5 p.m. in the South Fulton Commission Room.
Attendees are asked to enter at rear of Municipal Complex and proceed down hall to Commission Room.
Items on the agenda include 1. Call to Order by Mayor; 2. Invocation; 3. Roll Call; 4. New Business: A. Hiring of attorneys Brandon McWherter and Jonathan Bobbitt of the McCherter Scott Bobbitt Firm to handle the City’s ongoing claim and any arbitration, mediation, and/or litigation concerning the City’s claim against public entity partners (PEP) for the City Hall roof, B. Executive Session to be held in the Fire Station for the Commission, Counsel, City Attorney, City Manager, and City Recorder to receive Attorney/Client information regarding the Pep Roof Claim (after the executive session, the public meeting will continue); C. Approve and ratify prior actions taken by attorneys Brandon McWherter and Jonathan Bobbitt of the McWherter Scott Bobbitt Firm regarding the PEP roof claim, and D. Approve arbitration of the PEP roof claim; 5. FEMA weather siren quote; 6. Public comment period; and 7. Adjournment.
