Fulton County Board of Education special called Board meeting set for Tues., May 5

The Fulton County Board of Education will hold a Special Called Board Meeting Tues., May 5, 2026 at 6 p.m. 
The meeting will be held via video teleconference. The primary location where all members can be seen and heard and the public may attend in accordance with KRS 61.840 is at the Fulton County Board Office located at 2780 Moscow Avenue, Hickman, Ky. 42050 with the anticipation that four board members will be present and one board member will participate via video teleconference as authorized under KRS 61.826.
The meeting is open to the public. 
The following items are listed on the meeting's agenda: 1. Welcome, A. Roll Call, B. Invocation, C. Pledge of Allegiance, D. Reading of the Mission Statement- Compassion + High Standards = Growth for All, E. Approve Agenda; 2. Communications, A. Community Input; 3. Consider/Approve Student Related Trip Request, A. State Track Meet, and B. 8th Grade - St. Louis Zoo; 4. Discussion Items, A. Consider request of the Fulton Independent School District to have its district become part of the Fulton County School District as of July 1, 2026, for the 2026/2027 School Year and continuing thereafter; and 5. Adjournment.
