AREA OBITUARIES – Delbert Earl Mulcahy

Delbert Earl Mulcahy, age 76, of Benton, Ky., passed away on Tues., Nov. 18, 2025 in Benton.

Born on June 24, 1949, in Tamms, Ill., he was the son of the late Delbert Lee Mulcahy and Mary Ellen Hoodenpyle Mulcahy.

He retired as Vice President of Operations from Kermit B. Buck & Son Inc. 

He was also a proud member of the AMC Rambler Car Club and enjoyed the fellowship and shared enthusiasm of its community.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Joann Mulcahy, of Benton, Ky.; his niece, April (Joe) Montgomery, of Benton, Ky.; his nephew, Khayyam (Katherine) Mulcahy, of Benton, Ky.; his uncle, Kenneth Mulcahy, of Fulton, Ky.; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Mulcahy.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Mon., Nov. 24, 2025 at Palestine Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home and friends are respectfully asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
