AREA OBITUARIES -- RAYMOND WAYCASTER

Mr. Raymond Waycaster, age 68 and a resident of Clinton, Ky. passed away peacefully on Wed., March 12, 2025, at Reelfoot Manor in Tiptonville, Tenn. 

Raymond was born on May 1, 1956, to Charlie L. Waycaster of Clinton, Ky. and the late Martha Smith Waycaster in Memphis, Tenn. Raymond was a lifelong resident of Clinton and Hickman County.

Along with his father, he owned and operated a service station in Clinton for many years. Following that, he was the bus garage mechanic with Hickman County Schools for almost 30 years, worked several years at the Fulton County Detention Center and served his community as a constable for many years. Unbeknownst to most, Raymond loved to garden and was a talented woodworker. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Raymond is survived by his father; Charlie L. Waycaster of Clinton, Ky. a brother; David M. Waycaster (Kathy) of South Fulton, Tenn., nephews; Michael (Lauren) Waycaster and Blake Waycaster of South Fulton, Tenn.; a great-nephew,  Ezekiel Waycaster and great-nieces Olivia Waycaster, Georgia and Grace Bluehorse all of South Fulton, Tenn.

He is preceded in death by his mother; Martha Smith Waycaster.

In keeping with Raymonds wishes there will be no services.
