AREA OBITUARIES -- DEBORAH PUCKETT WATSON
Deborah Puckett Watson, age 62 of Lebanon Tenn., passed away on January 21, 2025.
Deborah Marie Puckett was born in Fulton, Ky. to Shirley Marie Sloan Puckett and Ralph Puckett.
She graduated from South Fulton High School in 1980 and went on to graduate from Murray State University. She moved to Nashville, Tenn. and began working for the Tennessee State Legislature until her retirement from the Tennessee Archives after 30 years with the state.
Her passion for cooking led to her being a great cook. She enjoyed listening to music and being with her dogs, Bo and Riley.

After her retirement from the State of Tennessee, Deborah started her favorite job as an Administrative Assistant for the Sales Department at Bates Ford in Lebanon.
Deborah is survived by her husband Stan Watson, parents Shirley and Ralph Puckett of South Fulton, Tenn., and sister, Diana Huggins also of South Fulton, Tenn.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Kevin White, is at 12 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 at Berea Church of Christ, Lebanon Tenn. Visitation at the church will be on Friday, January 24, from 10 a.m. until the service at 12 p.m. Church Elders will serve as Pallbearers.
Local Funeral Services will be held at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, Fulton, on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 11 a.m.. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Deborah Puckett Watson will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2025 in the Hornbeak Funeral Home-Fulton, funeral chapel.
