Two Doors Down labor of love for Wrights

When Two Doors Down Boutique opened in Fulton 11 years ago, it was a dream turned reality for owner Teresa Wright. Along with her husband, Bart, the South Fulton couple had been approached by a friend about a building available in the downtown Fulton area on Lake Street. That was all it took for Teresa, who said she had always wanted to have her own business.

She said she had always loved the downtown area of Fulton, so it seemed like it would be a good fit. 

Two Doors Down Boutique is located at 426 Lake St., and is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

One interesting fact about Two Doors Down, is that all of the props used to decorate the boutique have been gifted to Teresa and Bart by several local area businesses, and once used in a number of capacities at other businesses. Additionally, Bart has created a number of original pieces, using items acquired through estate sales, rich in history.

The easiest part about being a small business owner, Teresa said, is getting to know all of your customers. 

The hardest part, she said, is determining what selections are the best choices for customers.

"I want to have different clothing than can be found elsewhere, locally. I put a lot of time into what I decide to sell because I want to make sure people will love it," she said.
