MS Lady Devils #4 at State

In the inaugural sanctioning of the Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association’s state basketball tournament, South Fulton Middle School’s Lady Red Devils ended up with a fourth place finish in the competition, following a first round loss to Harriman Feb. 8, and another loss to South Lawrence the following day.
The Lady Devils earned their appearance at the state level with a victory over Obion County neighbor Hillcrest.
In the first game the Lady Red Devils came up short against Harriman Middle School 51-24 Feb. 8.
Tolesha Mason had nine points and five rebounds. Makenna Naugle had four points.
Anna Gore, Aubree Gore, and Abbi McFarland each had three points.
Maddie Gray had two points and three rebounds.
The following day, the Lady Red Devils took on South Lawrence, however, they did not come out on top with a final score of 55-28.
Anna Gore 11 added for the Lady Red Devils, along with three steals.
Maddie Gray and Makenna Naugle has five points. Abbi McFarland and Tolesha Mason had three points.
Shaylyn Brown had one point.
