AREA OBITUARIES – Terry Hill

Terry Nelson Hill, age 66, of Hickman, passed away Dec. 24 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

He was born on Sept. 28, 1955 in Fulton to the late Nelson D. “Corky” Hill and Peggy Floyd Hill, of Hickman.

He was a member of the Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church, in Hickman, and was a farmer in Reveri, Tenn. for 20 years.

He was also a riverboat deckhand.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Beth L. Hill Stanley, of Salem; a son, Nelson D. Hill, of Peach Bottom, Pa.; two grandchildren, Kimimela Skrivanek, of Seattle, Wash., and Izabella Marie Hill, of Baltimore, Md.; and a brother, Robert Wayne Hill, of Westburke, Vt.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 30 at the Mt Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
