FULTON CITY COMMISSION MEETS MARCH 24; AGENDA ANNOUNCED

THE CITY OF FULTON COMMISSION WILL MEET MONDAY, MARCH 24 AT 6 P.M. AT FULTON CITY HALL'S COMMISSION ROOM. THE MEETING IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE LISTED ON THE MEETING'S AGENDA:

City Attorney's Report  

1. Consider Municipal Order 2025-35, to approve the minutes of a regular meeting held on February 24, 2025. 
2. Consider Municipal Order 2025-36, to accept the resignation of Bruce Atterberry. 

3. Consider Municipal Order 2025-37, to accept the resignation of Colton Aldridge. 

4. Consider municipal Order 2025-38, authorizing the purchase of a 100 Horsepower electric motor to replace a high service pump at the water plant from Vaughn Electric for $9,487.06. 

5. Consider municipal Order 2025-39, authorizing the purchase of a 50 Horsepower electric motor to replace a well head pump at the water plant from Vaughn Electric for $6,557.14. 

6. Consider municipal Order 2025-40, approving the job descriptions v2025.01 for the Police Department. 
7. Discussion of changing Surplus Vehicle Bids. 
8. Discussion of mayoral appointment to the Housing Authority Board. (no vote needed) 9. Discussion of Departmental Monthly Reports. 
10. Discussion of Bridge Inspection. 
11. Consider Municipal Order 2025-41, authorizing the mayor to sign a memorandum of understanding with Fulton Independent School for 2 SRO's position at their campuses for FYE 2026 through FYE 2028. 


12. Consider Municipal Order 2025-42, to rescind Municipal Order 2023-175 which was a contract for accounting services and authorize the Mayor to sign a new memorandum of understanding with Fulton County Transit to provide accounting assistance with 2024 audit preparation. 


13. Consider Municipal Order 2025-43, to adjourn into Executive Session following KRS 68.810 1 (f) Discussions or hearings which might lead to the appointment, discipline, or dismissal of an individual employee, member, or student without restricting that employee's, member's, or student's right to a public hearing if requested. This exception shall not be interpreted to permit discussion of general personnel matters in secret.
