Donald Dale Pickering, born Nov. 10, 1946, to the late Bernard and Hattie Langford Pickering, passed away Feb.22, 2025, at his residence in South Fulton, Tenn.
Donald was married to Joyce Wilson Pickering on June 17, 1972, at the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in South Fulton. He worked as a 3-roll calendar operator for the former Good Year Tire and Rubber Company in Union City, Tenn. He loved fishing, hunting and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Wilson Pickering, of South Fulton; three children, Melissa (Chris) Neale, of Mayfield, Ky., Teresa (Jeremy) McFarland, of South Fulton and Bryan (Rachel) Pickering, of South Fulton; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Adrianna and Aiden Neale, all of Mayfield, Bryce and Abigail McFarland, both of South Fulton, Braden Costello, of South Fulton, and Ella Pickering, of South Fulton; five brothers, Kenneth (Teenie) Pickering, of South Fulton, Glen Pickering, of Union City, Gary (Mary) Pickering, of South Fulton, Orville (Judy) Pickering, of South Fulton, and Michael Pickering, of Union City; and one sister, Linda (Mike) Boyd, of Sedalia, Ky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bennie Pickering.
Graveside services will be held Wed., Feb. 26, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel of Fulton on Wed., Feb. 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. until time to leave for cemetery for graveside services.
