AREA OBITUARIES -- CAROLYN STAIRS

Mrs. Carolyn Joyce Stairs, age 82, of Wingo, KY. passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at the

Vanderbilt Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Hickman County, KY.

She was born on February 5, 1941 in Mayfield, KY to the late Elmo Latham and Pearl Burgess Latham.

Carolyn was of the Baptist faith and was the manager of Twin Cities Care in South Fulton, Tenn. She retired

from Walmart, where she was a manager.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Glen Stairs, who she married August 13, 1960, a son Greg (Wendy)

Stairs of Clinton, Ky., two grandchildren: Trent Stairs of Clinton, Ky. and Gracie Stairs of Mayfield, Ky. and a brother,

Billy Latham of Clinton, Ky.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son Jeff Stairs, two sisters: Mary Willie and Donna Murphy.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in the Fulton Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Clark Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m.

Tuesday until the hour of service
